Junagarh Fort, Bikaner India

I visited the Junagarh Fort during my stay in Bikaner, and it was conveniently located next door to the hotel I was staying at. Also known as the fort with seven gates, the Junagarh Fort was home to many Maharajas and contained several palaces and temples.The interiors of the fort were decorated in the traditional Rajasthani style and I was amazed by the gold plated rooms and intricate designs covering the marble floor.

Many people were touring around and some curious tourists asked to take photographs with me and my friend. In return, I took a picture of them. Everyone I met at the fort was very friendly and left with lasting memories. While in Bikaner, the Junagarh Fort is definitely worth exploring.
