Santorini Animal Welfare Association

During my many visits to Santorini, Greece, I volunteered at a local animal refuge. The name of the refuge is SAWA (Santorini Animal Welfare Association). I spent my time walking dogs to the beach, photographing and socializing them. I became familiar with many of the dogs at the shelter. The photos I took of the dogs and equines were published on the organization’s website. These photos helped the dogs find their forever homes. The dogs at SAWA are relocated all over Europe, where they are adopted. SAWA holds a special place in my heart. I’ve met many amazing volunteers and bonded with many of the dogs.
