Bhairon Vilas, Bikaner India
October 17, 2012I stayed at the Bhairon Vilas while I visited the small town of Bikaner. This heritage hotel was originally the residence of Bhairon Singh Ji, a Prime Minister during the early 1900’s. Located next to the Junagarh Fort, the hotel has 18 rooms that are finely decorated with the family’s personal furniture. Peaceful gardens surround the hotel, with a quiet restaurants that serves traditional Indian meals. I was amazed by the architecture and colours of this remarkable hotel. It was definitely different than any other hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
